Jennie joined DBH in August 2025 as our first and only Therapy Dog (in training). Jennie is a Miniature American Shepherd puppy owned and handled by Liz Goodman, LCSW. She sees clients in person Tuesday through Friday, and at times may appear briefly during telehealth sessions. Jennie has completed Puppy and Beginner Obedience classes at Dog Lover’s Obedience School, with pending enrollment in Intermediate level. She currently specializes in “down,” “stay,” and “wait,” with a clinical subspecialty in kisses and flops.
In her free time Jennie enjoys chasing chickens, playing soccer, and eating cicadas. In the evening she winds down with belly rubs, face pets, and her nightly pupsicle.
