Liz Goodman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who treats adolescents and adults (ages 18+) through individual therapy. Liz specializes in utilizing a combination of Cognitive/Behavioral, Strengths-Based, and Trauma-Informed approaches to address a wide range of presenting issues, such as anxiety, depression, and family/relationship conflict with a specific focus on the dynamics of Narcissistic Abuse/Antagonistic Relational Stress. Through the process of building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship, Liz helps her clients to solve problems, gain insights, and empower themselves to make meaningful changes.
Liz earned her BA in Psychology at Marymount Manhattan College, and her MSW at Virginia Commonwealth University. She meets with clients primarily in person, but is also available for telehealth sessions. When in office, Liz is typically joined by Jennie, her therapy dog in-training.
